Installation

5.1

Siting

5.1.1

Installation room

NOTE: Risk of material damage from frost
and corrosion.
B Site the buffer cylinder in a dry, frost-free
room.
B Only use the buffer cylinder in sealed
systems.
B Never use in combination open vented
expansion header tanks.
5.1.2

Installing the buffer cylinder

Fig. 7, page 65 and Fig. 8, page 65.
5.2

Hydraulic connection

For buffer cylinders with 80 mm thermal insulation, the
pipework must be installed after the thermal insulation.
For buffer cylinders with 120 mm thermal insulation, we
recommend installing the pipework before fitting the
insulation.
DANGER: Risk of fire through soldering and
welding!
B As far as possible, carry out any soldering
and welding work before fitting the
thermal insulation.
B Take appropriate protective measures
when soldering and welding as the
thermal insulation is flammable (for
example cover the thermal insulation).
B Check thermal insulation after completion
for perfect condition.
