Explanation of symbols

Warnings
Warnings in this document are framed and
identified by a warning triangle printed
against a grey background.
If there is a danger through electricity, the
exclamation mark in the warning triangle is
replaced by a lightning symbol.
Keywords at the start of a warning indicate the type and
severity of the ensuing risk if measures to prevent the risk
are not taken.
• NOTE indicates that material losses may occur.
• CAUTION indicates that minor to medium injury may
occur.
• WARNING indicates possible severe personal injury.
• DANGER indicates a risk to life.

Siting and conversion
B Risk of fire! Soldering and welding work can lead to
fire as the thermal insulation is flammable. Only have
the buffer cylinder installed or modified by an approved
contractor.
Function
B In order to ensure trouble-free operation, read these
installation and maintenance instructions carefully.
B Risk of scalding When the buffer cylinder is in
operation, temperatures over 60 °C can occur.
Maintenance
B Customer recommendation: Arrange a
maintenance and inspection contract with an approved
contractor.
B Only use genuine spare parts.
Instructing the customer
B Instruct the user in how to operate the buffer cylinder
and draw their attention to safety-related points.
B Hand over the installation and maintenance
