5.2 Dust connection
Before operation, the unit must be connected to hoses
and ductwork.
Only electrically conductive and fire resistant flexible
hoses may be used.
Hoses and ductwork, must be ground connected, to avoid
electro-static charging, which could cause ignition-sparks
and dust explosion.
(JET Dust Collection Grounding Kit,
Article Number: JW1053).

5.3 Mains connection

Mains connection and any extension cords used must
comply with applicable regulations.
The mains voltage must comply with the information on
the machine licence plate.
The mains connection must have a
10 A surge-proof fuse and proper ground continuity.
Only use power cords marked H07RN-F
Connections and repairs to the electrical equipment may
only be carried out by qualified electricians.

6. Machine operation

You can start the dust collector with the green ON button
(A, Fig 12).
The red OFF button (B) stops the dust collector.

7. Maintenance and inspection

General notes:

Fig 12
Inspect the proper function of the dust collection system
daily.
Clean the unit regularly.
Defective safety devices must be replaced immediately.
Repair and maintenance work on the electrical system
may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.

7.1 Filter Cleaning

Filter cleanliness has a big effect on the vacuum power.
The filter must be cleaned when the air flow reduces, and
before changing the collecting bag.
Unhook the filter bag (DC-1100A) from the support rod
and shake the bag, so that the collected dust and chips
fall down into the collecting bag.
The 2-micron canister filter (DC-1100CK) is cleaned by
brushes inside. Rotate the crank in both ways (Fig 13).
ATTENTION:
The dust-collector must always be switched off for
cleaning, otherwise the cleaning is useless.
During the changing or cleaning of the filters it's
necessary to use a mask (mask with filtration).
A damaged filter must be replaced immediately.

7.2 Changing collector bag

Always disconnect the dust collector from the power
source (unplug) before changing the collector bag
During the changing or cleaning of the collector bag it's
necessary to use a mask (mask with filtration).
Remove the collector bag by pushing the snap ring (E, Fig
8) of the collector bag upwards at an angle and pulling
the bag and snap ring out.
A damaged collector bag must be replaced immediately.
