Preparatory steps (→ Fig. 1–7)

Check whether the scope of delivery is complete and free of
damage.
▸
Lay out the required tools.
▸
At all basic sets:
–
Remove the existing cable ties at the connecting lines.
–
Dismantle the existing spacers.
–
Dismantle the existing cross members.
–
Lay a cross member at the basic set at which the first heat-
ing field/empty element is to be mounted.
▸
At all heating fields:
–
Dismantle the plugs.
–
Mount the 3/8" adapter to the Euro-cone.
Mounting the heating fields/empty elements (→ Fig. 8–16)
If mirror elements are to be mounted, take the installa-
tion position of the heating field into account: The mirror
can only be mounted on the side that does not come
directly into contact with the heating field (→ Fig. A).

Insert the heating field/empty element into the basic set
which the cross member abuts.
Observe the installation position of the compression
fittings: flush with the front edge of the heating field
(→ Fig. B).
▸
Reduce all the connecting lines to the required length and
mount the compression fittings.
▸
Use the adjusting screws to align the heating field/empty
element together with a second person.
▸
Screw tight the heating field/empty element with screws,
washers and nuts. Ensure that the screws lie as far as possible
apart.
▸
Mount and align further heating fields/empty elements in the
same manner.
▸
Secure the heating fields/empty elements with the spacer.
Connection (→ Fig. 17)
The automatic bleed valves are premounted at the heating
fields.
▸
Tighten the compression fittings at all the connecting lines.
▸
Mount the thermostatic valve with adjusting function
externally since mounting under the radiator is not
possible.
Commissioning
The bleed valve bleeds automatically in the closed
state.
▸
Do not open the bleed valve completely.
▸
Replace leaking bleed valves and do not close
them with a cap.
▸
Fill and bleed the radiator. Danger of scalding!
▸
Check the radiator and water connections for leaks.
Mounting accessories and covers (→ Fig. 18–19)
▸
If applicable, mount the towel rail/hook to the covers or a
folding mirror (→ separate instructions).
▸
Hang in all the covers/mirrors. In the process ensure that the
covers/mirrors are flush at the top with the respective heating
field/empty element.
Fault elimination
The bleed valve bleeds automatically in the closed
state. If this is not the case, manual bleeding can be
achieved by opening the bleed valve.
▸
Do not open the bleed valve completely.
▸
Replace leaking bleed valves and do not close
them with a cap.
▸
Open the bleed valves with a max. of ¼ revolutions anti-
clockwise.
▸
Fill and bleed the radiator. Danger of scalding!
▸
Check the radiator and water connections for leaks.
▸
Close the bleed valves clockwise and check for leaks.

Utilisation autorisée
Le radiateur peut uniquement être utilisé pour le chauffage de
locaux intérieurs et le séchage/préchauffage de textiles à résis-
tance thermique élevée. Toute autre utilisation est interdite.
Utilisation non conforme

Les surfaces du radiateur et des raccordements peuvent
atteindre une température de 90 °C.

Le radiateur est équipé d'une soupape de purge auto-
matique.

N'effectuez pas de manipulations sur la soupape
de purge afin de garantir l'étanchéité du radiateur.
Les champs chauffants/éléments vides comportent des
aimants qui peuvent effacer des supports de données
magnétiques, p. ex. des cartes bancaires.
Montage et réparations
▸
Faites effectuer le montage et les réparations uniquement par
un technicien spécialisé, afin de ne pas perdre vos droits à la
garantie.
▸
Vous pouvez réparer de petites rayures du cache à l'aide
d'un crayon pour retouches.
Nettoyage
▸
Respectez les recommandations de nettoyage jointes.
