6 Replacing of Battery or Fuse

Prior to opening the unit, in any case remove the test tips from
the measuring points of the circuit to avoid any danger of an
electric shock.
Never operate the unit when it is open.
a. If the symbol
must be replaced by a new 9 V transistor battery.
b. If it is not possible to carry out current measurements, check the
fuses and replace them by fuses of the same type, if necessary:
for the range below 200 mA:
for the range from 200 mA on: 10 A, super-quick-acting
A spare fuse for the range below 200 mA is included.
To open the multimeter, remove the protective rubber frame,
unscrew the three screws on the rear side of the unit and remove
the lower housing shell. The battery compartment is situated in the
lower housing shell; fuses F1 and F2 on the PCB in the upper
housing shell.
After replacing the battery or the fuses, reassemble the two
housing shells and fasten the screws tightly. Attach the protective
frame, if required.
