10. BRAKE SYSTEM

Make sure how your brakes are working before you start driving.
Left Brake Lever: Front Brake
Right Brake Lever: Rear Brake
Please note that unfavorable weather conditions may affect the braking performance!
11. GEAR SHIFT (ONLY CARL 290/ CLARA 390)
GEAR SHIFTING OPERATION
Be sure to operate the gear shift only while pedaling.

If you want to shift in a lighter gear, push the lever (A) forward step by step for each of
the gears. If you move the lever further forward, you can also skip a gear.

If you want to choose a heavier gear, push the button (B) to shift to each of the gears.
