Starting operation / Information on operation
Submerse the discharge hose end in the liquid being
dispensed and securely fix the hose on the container.
Set the maximum required operating pressure
by the pressure controller.
Slowly open the speed regulating valve until the pump
is running slowly.
As soon as the pump will be completely filled with liquid
and no more air will be contained within the system,
the speed regulating valve can be set to achieve the
requested delivery rate.
If the requested delivery rate will not be achieved,
increase the air pressure by the pressure controller
(max. 8 bar).
When transferring liquids which tend to "deposit",
the pump has to be flushed before any stop period.
In flushing, the pump itself should be used, to avoid
any pressure difference on diaphragms.
Cleaning
Always flush the pump with an appropriate cleaning agent.
The cleaning agent must be compatible with the liquid
being pumped as well as the materials of the pump,
dispensing valves, flexibles hoses and/or pipes.
