OSD menu of an AXC camera
How can I call up the OSD menu of an AXC camera via
the AXR recorder?
The OSD menu of the camera can be called up via the PTZ
console of the AXR:
1) In the main menu, select "Device"/"PTZ" and then change
the PTZ protocol from "Pelco-D" to "COAX1" (baud rate
9600).
2) The function "IRIS+" of the PTZ console can now be used
to call up the OSD menu of the AXC camera.
3) To navigate within the menus, use the arrow buttons of
the PTZ console; for the "ENTER" function, use "IRIS+".

Remote access to camera images
How can I retrieve camera images to include them into
my homepage or a video door phone system?
It is possible to access connected cameras via the RTSP stream
which is provided by the AXR recorder. For detailed address
information, please refer to "RTSP" in the network menu of
the recorder.
Replacement for older cameras
Which cameras can be used as a replacement for older
cameras?
The cameras of the AXC series (with the exception of AXC-
137NLC and AXC-137PHC), offering the two signal outputs
TVI and AHD / CVBS are not only interesting as a replacement
for older cameras, but can also be part of sophisticated and
complex installations such as the surveillance system of an
entrance door: While the TVI signal is sent to a recorder, the
CVBS signal can be sent to a small monitor (e. g. TFT-800LED)
at the same time.
