Installation Instructions
Note
This kit contains two panels for different models.
Select the panel that matches the dryer front. The other panel will not be needed.
Warning!
Heat-pump dryers should be transported as shown in Fig. 1. If the dryer has not been transported in this fashion, it
should remain idle for at least one hour before reconnecting to the power supply. Otherwise, the heat pump could become
damaged.
Install the washer in accordance with the operating instructions.
Adjust the dryer feet:
Condenser/heat-pump dryers: Empty all condensate from the condenser box.
Adjust all dryer feet to 11mm; see Fig. 2
Install the stacking kit:
Place the dryer/frame assembly onto the washer.
Align the dryer with the washer. The dryer feet must be completely on top of the washer lid.
Mark the frame position and 6 screw points on the washer lid.
Remove the frame.
Apply silicone to the screw markings on the washer lid. Approximate diameter: 25mm / 1 inch.
Place the frame back on the washer lid and line it up with the screw markings.
Secure the frame to the washer lid using the 6 wood screws.
Washer-dryer stack assembly:
Install the dryer on the washing machine in its guides.
Insert the retaining pieces and secure them with raised-head screws.
Slide the panel into place.
Connect the machines to the power supply in accordance with the operating instructions.
Danger!
Risk of electric shock, appliance damage when disassembling:
When the WTV is disassembled, the washer lid is not adequately sealed, due to the residual holes. The washer can no
longer be operated safely.
Before the washer can be operated again without the WTV, the lid must be sealed in one of the following ways:
Seal the holes in the lid using silicone, or
Install a new lid on the washer. (Lids are available through Miele dealers.)
Risk of electric shock when lid is removed:
Removing/installing the lid may only be done by a trained technician in strict accordance with national, state and local
codes.
Before starting any service work, disconnect the appliance from its power source.
