Operation selection Park
When the PARK button is pressed the following operation selections
can be chosen.
• PARK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The robotic lawnmower stays
in the charging station until another operating mode is selected by
pressing the START button.
• START AGAIN IN 3 HOURS. The robotic lawnmower stays in the
charging station for three hours and then returns automatically to
normal operation. This operation selection is suitable when there
is a need to pause operation, e.g. for temporary irrigation or for
games on the lawn.
• START WITH NEXT TIMER. The robotic lawnmower stays in the
charging station until the next Timer setting permits operation. This
operation selection is suitable if one wishes to cancel an ongo-
ing mowing cycle and allow the robotic lawnmower to stay in the
charging station until the next day. This option is not displayed if
there are no Timer settings.

4.3 The charging station's PARK button

This section applies to Automower
The PARK button on the charging station is used to call the robotic lawn-
mower back to the charging station. The PARK button on the keypad in
the robotic lawnmower offers the same function. .
A LED in the PARK button is lit solid when the button has been pressed.
The LED diode goes out when the robotic lawnmower is parked in the
charging station.
The robotic lawnmower remains parked in the charging station until the
START button on the robotic lawnmower's keypad is pressed.

Main menu
There are a number of submenus under each option. You can access all
the functions to set the robotic lawnmower settings via these.

Browse between menus
Browse through the main menu and submenus with the help of the multi-
choice buttons.(Automower
310/315/420/430X/440/450X). Enter values and times using the number
keys and confirm each selection with the multi-choice button marked
OK. Press BACK to go up a step in the menu or keep the HOME (Auto-
mower 105) alternatively MENU (Automower
®
310/315/420/430X/440/450X) button pressed in for 2 seconds to go
directly to the main menu.
Submenus
Certain submenus contain a box that can be checked. This is used to
select which option(s) is/are selected or if a function is activated/deacti-
vated..
Menu structure
The following table summarises the menu selections found in the main
menu. For more detailed information about how each function is used
and which setting options are available, see the complete Operator's
manual on Husqvarna's website (www.automower.com).
Timer:The lawn should not be cut too often to obtain the best
mowing result. Consequently, it is important to limit the opera-
ting time using the timer function if the working area is less
than the robotic lawnmower's working capacity. The timer fun-
ction is also an ideal tool to control which periods the robotic
lawnmower should not mow, for example, when the children
are playing in the garden.
Cutting height (for Automower
The cutting height can be varied from MIN (2 cm / 0.8 ") to MAX
(6 cm / 2.5 ").
Security:In this menu, settings relating to security and the con-
nection between the robotic lawnmower and the charging sta-
tion can be made.
There are three security levels to choose from but it is also
possible to define your own combination of security functions.
Messages (for Automower
Historical, fault and information messages can be read in this
menu. For some of the most common fault messages, there
are tips and advice to help you rectify the fault.
Weather timer (for Automower
This function allows the robotic lawnmower to automatically
adjust its mowing times based on how quick the lawn grows.
When the weather is good for grass growth, the robotic lawn-
mower mows more often and when grass growth is slower the
robotic lawnmower will automatically spend less time on the
lawn.
Installation:This menu is used to steer the robotic lawnmower
to remote parts of a working area and to control how the robo-
tic lawnmower searches for the charging station. For many
working areas the factory settings can be kept, i.e. allow the
robotic lawnmower itself to combine the various search met-
hods and the underlying settings.
Settings:This selection allows you to make changes to the
general robotic lawnmower settings such as date and time.
Accessories (for Automower
This menu handles the settings for accessories assembled on
the mower. Contact your dealer for information on what acces-
sories are suitable for your robotic lawnmower.
