Apply the adhesive to the left and right strain gauge units in the areas within the dotted lines (diagram
below).
Use the spatula to apply the adhesive within the area indicated by the dotted line, being careful to stay within the dotted
lines. (There is no problem if the adhesive goes outside the area surrounded by the gray line.) Do not apply any adhesive to
the shaded areas.

Apply enough adhesive so that it is slightly rounded on top.

Pressure Bonding the Sensors

This section describes how to pressure bond the sensors to the left and right cranks.
• The adhesive for the sensors starts to harden after 20 minutes. You must apply the adhesive and finish the bonding process within 20
minutes of dispensing the adhesive.

Insert the left crank into the sensor guide and strongly press it in.

Slowly extract the left crank from the guide base.
