Insert the left sensor guide and the boss for left crank into the guide base.
• Confirm there are no foreign objects on the surface of the sensor guide.

Confirm that the left crank's stopper plate has been removed.

Insert the left crank into the guide base.

Make sure there are no deep scratches in the area on which the strain gauge unit is installed (diagram
below).
•
If there are scratches so deep that the base metal (silver) can be seen, measurements cannot be done and installation is not possible.
Installation can be done if the scratches are only shallow scuff marks.

Remove the left crank from the guide base.
