Das Gerät muss ortsfest montiert und die Antenne senkrecht nach
unten ausgerichtet sein
•
Das Gerät darf außerhalb geschlossener Behälter nur in der Aus-
führung Gewinde G1½ bzw. 1½ NPT mit integrierter Hornantenne
betrieben werden.
•
Der Montageort muss mindestens 4 km von Radioastronomiestati-
onen entfernt sein, sofern keine spezielle Genehmigung durch die
zuständige nationale Zulassungsbehörde erteilt wurde
•
Bei Montage im Umkreis von 4 bis 40 km um eine Radioastrono-
miestation darf das Gerät nicht höher als 15 m über dem Boden
montiert werden.
Eine Liste der jeweiligen Radioastronomiestationen finden Sie in
Kapitel "Anhang".
2.8 Funktechnische Zulassung für USA
Diese Zulassung ist ausschließlich für die USA gültig. Deshalb ist der
folgende Text nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar:

This device must accept any interference, including interference
that may cause undesired operation of the device
This device is approved for unrestricted use only inside closed, statio-
nary vessels made of metal, reinforced fiberglass or concrete.
For operation outside of closed vessels, the following conditions must
be fulfilled:

This device shall be installed and maintained to ensure a vertically
downward orientation of the transmit antenna's main beam.
Furthermore, the use of any mechanism that does not allow the
main beam of the transmitter to be mounted vertically downward is
prohibited.
•
Operation of the instrument is only permitted with thread G1½ or
1½ NPT with integrated horn antenna.
•
This device shall be installed only at fixed locations. The LPR
device shall not operate while being moved or while inside a
moving container.
•
Hand-held applications are prohibited.
•
Marketing to residential consumers is prohibited.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufactu-
rer could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
