ment or with the overflow indication the minus sign may
additionally be displayed.

4.3 Resistance measurement

Never measure a resistor when voltage is applied and
always measure it separately, otherwise the measure-
ment will be inaccurate. For this purpose, solder it out of
the circuit, if required.
Choose a suitable resistance range with the rotary switch.
With resistance measurements, test cables which are not
connected represent an infinitely high resistance. This is
displayed as overflow "1".

4.4 Continuity buzzer

However, never perform a continuity check when voltage
is applied, otherwise the measurement will be inaccurate.

4.5 Diode testing

Never measure a diode when voltage is applied and
always measure it separately, otherwise the measure-
ment will be inaccurate. For this purpose, solder the
diode out of the circuit, if required.
