SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the machine from the mains
power supply
assembly and maintenance work.
The machine must not be operated before
assembly work has been completed.
Use the machine only in perfect working
order.
Do not deactivate safety and protection
devices
The machine must not be operated if the
operator is under the infl uence of alcohol,
drugs or medication.
Children, or other people who are not
familiar with the operating instructions, are
not allowed to use the machine
Observe local
minimum age requirements for operating
the machine.
Keep others away from dangerous areas.
Do not leave the appliance unsupervised.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened and that the machine is in a safe
operational state.
Let the motor cool down before storing the
machine in a closed room.
Regularly check the grass catcher for wear
or loss of functional capability.
Exchange worn or damaged parts for safety
reasons.
Spare parts and accessories
Only original spare parts and original
accessories may be used.

Assembly of the bars
Mounting of lower handle bar to the
housing (1)
1 Insert lower handle bar into the cut-outs up
to the end stop and secure on each side
with screws Ø4.8x13
Mounting upper handle bar to the lower
handle bar (2)
1 Secure upper handle bar to lower handle
bar wing nut set, each side
Mounting bearing parts to upper handle
bar (3)
1 Push on Mount on both side.(3a)
2 Push on Holder and insert rod.(3b)
3 Affi x clamp for fi xing cable.(3c)
Assembly of grass catcher
Assembly of grass catcher parts (4)
1 Attach upper part to the pins of the lower
partof the catcher.
Securing of the grass catcher parts (5)
1 Fold both parts of the grass catcher together
and secure with 2 screws Ø3.5x14.
Removing the mulching kit (6) (only
ML40SR)
1 Lift the baffl e plate
2 Pull out the mulching kit.
3 Store the mulching kit for future use.
