AUDIO IN (3)
Set the slide switch on the position, which cor-
responds to the externally connected device:
'M': External microphone
'G': Electric guitar
'L': Audio-Device (e.g. CD-Player, Radio)
MIC-LEVEL (4)
Set the slide switch on the position, which is the
most suitable for the recording or deactivate the
internal microphone, if this is not to be used while connecting an external device:
'H': High sensitivity (-45 dB for 1 kHz)
'L': High sensitivity (-35 dB for 1 kHz)
'OFF': internal microphones (7) are deactivated
Deactivate the internal microphones, if you want to use only external micro-
phones.
Selection of the storage location and recording group
• Press the 'STOP' (14) Button and then the 'REC' (13) Button to interchange between the
internal memory and the SD-Memory card. 'F' (internal memory) or 'C' (SD-memory card)
appears on the display
• Press the 'STOP' (14) Button and then 'Fast forward/Reverse' (19) button to interchange
between the nine recording groups.
Each time 99 recording tracks are available per recording group.

9. Operation

a) Key lock

In order to prevent unintentional change in the settings, activate the key lock 'HOLD' (5).
