2. Proper use

The PDR-1 Audio-Recorder is used for recording, storage and playback of audio signals.
Recording is done via integrated microphone as well external microphone and devices (e.g.
electrical guitar, HIFI-Devices), which can be connected to the product. An internal memory or
commercially available SD- Memory card (not included in the delivery) is provided as memory
medium. Batteries or rechargeable batteries supply power to the product.
The device may only be used in closed rooms; it must not be used outdoors. Contact with
moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided.
All safety instructions and notes on operation in these operating instructions must be observed
at all times. These instructions not only protect the product but also and in particular your health.
Please read through the operating instructions carefully before using the product. Keep them in
a safe place for future reference.
