• Always unplug the plug mains unit from the mains socket before cleaning
the product.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket in case
of an electrical storm.
• Ensure that all the electrical connections and connection cables between the
product and any extension cables conform to the regulations and comply with
the Operating Instructions.
• The mains adapter is a protection class II product.
• Use the product only with the mains adapter supplied. If the housing of the
mains adapter or of the product exhibits a defect, disconnect the mains adapt-
er from the power supply immediately and contact your dealer.
• The product must also be disconnected from the power supply immediately if
elevated operating temperatures, unusual operating noises or smoke occur.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The product does
only emit relatively weak radio signals. These radio signals could, however,
lead to malfunctions in life-supporting systems.
• Never operate the product close to medical devices (e.g. pacemakers).
• Ensure the product is adequately ventilated. Never operate the product when
it is covered.
• The operation of this surveillance system does not replace personal supervi-
sion of children or people who require special assistance, but serves only as
a support to this supervision.
• On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of
the industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be
followed.
• This product uses and generates high frequency energy. If the product is not
installed and operated in accordance with these Instructions, it can cause
signal disturbances. If this product leads to interference in other devices, at-
tempt one or more of the following measures listed below, in order to restore
normal function:
- Change the position of the radio transmitter and/or the radio receiver.
- Alter the distance between the affected product and the radio transmitter
and/or radio receiver.
- Select a different transmit channel.
