i) Wiederholfunktion, Taste „REPEAT" (41)
Durch mehrfaches Drücken der Taste „REPEAT" (41) kann bei DVDs ausgewählt
werden, ob das Kapitel („REP CHAPTER"), der Titel („REP TITLE") oder die gesamte
DVD („REP DISC") wiederholt wird.
Zum Deaktivieren der Funktion drücken Sie die Taste sooft, bis die Einblendung
„REPEAT OFF" erscheint. Nach einigen Sekunden verschwindet die Einblendung,
die Wiederholfunktion ist ausgeschaltet.
j) A-B-Wiederholfunktion, Taste „REPEAT A-B" (16)
Mit dieser Funktion können zwei Stellen im Film markiert werden. Der dazwischen
liegende Teil wird dann immer wieder abgespielt (von Stelle A bis Stelle B).
Drücken Sie während dem Film die Taste „REPEAT A-B" (16). Die Einblendung „REP
A" erscheint, der Startpunkt ist gesetzt. Drücken Sie z.B. nach einigen Sekunden die
Taste „REPEAT A-B" ein zweites Mal. Die Einblendung „REP A-B" erscheint.
Der zwischen den beiden Tastendrücken markierte Filmteil wird nun immer
wieder abgespielt. Die Einblendung „REP A-B" zeigt Ihnen an, dass die
Wiederholfunktion aktiv ist.
Zum Ausschalten der Wiederholfunktion drücken Sie die Taste „REPEAT A-B"
nochmals, es erscheint die Einblendung „REPEAT OFF". Nach einigen Sekunden
verschwindet die Einblendung, die A-B-Wiederholfunktion ist ausgeschaltet.
k) DVD-Kapitel direkt wählen
Anstelle die Kapitel mühsam einzeln mit den Skip-Tasten (siehe g) weiterzuschalten,
können Sie sie über Zahlentasten 0-9 und der Taste „+10" der Fernbedienung (29)
direkt anwählen.
Zum Abspielen eines Kapitels größer als 10 drücken Sie die Taste „+10" (evtl. mehr-
mals) und danach eine der Zahlentasten 0-9 für die hintere Stelle.
Die Einblendung verschwindet, das angewählte Kapitel wird abgespielt.
Falls das Kapitel nicht existiert (z.B. nur 15 Kapitel auf der DVD, Sie haben
aber „17" eingegeben), erscheint kurzzeitig ein Hand-Symbol.
Beachten Sie z.B. das Inlay-Blatt der Original-DVD, welche und wieviele
Kapitel es gibt.

a) Switching on or off
Switch the apparatus on via the mains switch on the front of the apparatus (B).
The power LED (C) will begin to light up and the apparatus is now in the "·tandby"
mode.
There are three possibilities for switching the apparatus on:
• Press the button "STANDBY" on the remotre control (2) briefly.
• Press the button "CH " or "CH
• Press the button "CHANNEL " or "CHANNEL
briefly.
Press the button "STANDBY" on the remote control (2) to switch off the apparatus.
The apparatus is then in "standby" mode. To avoid unnecessary "power
consumption", switch the apparatus off additionally by means of the mains
switch (B) on the front, if you do not require it for a longer period.
b) Channel selection
To select channels, they first of all have to be stored, see section 12 on
page 17.
Press the button "CHANNEL " or "CHANNEL
ton "CH " or "CH " on the front of the apparatus to select the desired channel.
The appropriate channel number will appear briefly on the screen.
To select certain channels, press the corresponding number button on the remote
control, e.g. "8" for channel 8.
For the selection of two-digit channel numbers (e.g. "16"), first switch to "two-digit
mode" via the button "-/--" (6). Then press the number buttons successively (for
channel nmber "16" first press the button "1" briefly and then release. Then press the
button "6" briefly and then release again).
To select a channel with a one-digit channel number in this mode, you can
either switch via the button "-/--" to "one-digit mode" or enter the one-digit
channel number with a leading 0 (zero), e.g. instead of "8", enter "08".
