• „PARENTAL CONTL"
Diese Funktion soll bei dazu ausgerüsteten DVDs die Wiedergabe einschränken
(Level 8 = Erwachsener, Level 1 = Kind). Bestimmte Szenen eines Films sind mit
Filterwerten von 1 bis 8 versehen, eventuell stehen auf der DVD entsprechen alter-
native Szenen für Kinder zur Verfügung. Oft sind aber auf der DVD keine Filterwer-
te enthalten, das Abspielen dieser Szenen kann also nicht verhindert werden. Zum
Ändern der Einstellung ist zuerst ein Passwort (4stellige Zahlenkombination) einzu-
geben.
• „PASSWORD"
Vor der Änderung des Passwortes ist zur Sicherheit zuerst das alte Passwort
(4stellige Zahlenkombination) einzugeben.
In der Grundeinstellung/Lieferzustand ist als Passwort „9922" einzuge-
ben.
Geben Sie dann eine neue 4stellige Zahlenkombination ein, die Sie sich leicht mer-
ken können. Zur Sicherheit ist diese Zahlenkombination ein weiteres Mal einzuge-
ben, bevor sie akzeptiert wird.
Das Systempasswort „9922" funktioniert übrigens immer.
• „ANGLE MARK"
Wird diese Option eingeschaltet, erscheint bei Filmszenen mit mehreren Blickwin-
keln ein entsprechendes Symbol. Wählen Sie den Blickwinkel mit der Taste
„ANGLE" (8).
DVDs mit Filmszenen mit mehreren Blickwinkeln sind jedoch sehr selten.
• „DEFAULT"
Alle Einstellungen im OSD/Setup können über diesen Menüpunkt auf den Lieferzu-
stand zurückgestellt werden.
• „RETURN"
Über diesen Menüpunkt gelangen Sie wieder zum Hauptmenü („SETUP MENU")
zurück.

c) Timer
The apparatus can switch itself on or off at a certain time. Using this, you can have
yourself wakened, for example, on the next day.
Proceed as follows to activate the timer:
Press ·MENU (TV)" on the remote control (31) briefly
(or press the button ·MENU" on the front of the TV/DVD (F) briefly)
Select the setting option "TIMER" by means of the buttons "VOLUME
"VOLUME "
Press the button "CHANNEL
Select the following options by means of the buttons "CHANNEL
"CHANNEL ":
"CLOCK" set time, hours and minutes
"ON TIME" set "switch-on time", hours and minutes
"ON PROG" set the programme which is to appear when the apparatus
switches on
"OFF TIME" set the switch-off time
Setting the times takes place by means of the buttons "VOLUME
"VOLUME " . If setting take place at the times "- - : - -" , the timer is
deactivated.
The settings can be complete by means of the button "MENU (TV)" or
"MENU"
Please observe:
The apparatus has to be in "standby" mode so that it can switch itself on at
the time set. The mains switch (B) on the front of the TV/DVD combination
set may not be switched off!
If the switch-on time has been reached, the apparatus will switch itself on, the
switch-on time is then cleared automatically. On reaching the switch-off time, the
apparatus switchess itself off again, the switch-off time set is also cleared.
Automatic clearing of the switch on and switch-off time prevents the timer
from being active on the following day as well (e.g. if you are not at home).
