If you encounter such problems, convert the pictures with suitable software to a
lower resolution or use other software for the creation of JPG image files.
The TV picture has a resolution of around 752*576 pixels. If the JPG image file has
a higher resolution, this has to be converted downwards which can take a few sec-
onds depending on the size of the picture.
• The possible operating features in playing audio CDs, VCDs, SVCDs, self-burned
DVDs, MP3-CDs and picture CDs are very varied.
For example, no sub-titles can be selected when none is existent on the SVCD. Or,
it is not possible with VCDs to switch to the next of the previous chapter with the
two skip buttons because, while burning, no chapter positions were created.

• Audio CDs with copy protection can, under certain circumstances, not be played
on the TV/DVD combination set!
There are also problems with copy-protected audio CDs with portable CD players,
with DVD players and with a CD player in the car.
In individual cases, it could be necessary to return such CDs to the dealer again.
b) Operation
Öpen and close the CD-/DVD tray either by means of the button "OPEN/CLOSE" on
the remote control (26) or on the front of the apparatus (K).
To insert the CD or DVD, take it carefully out of the cover and place it onto the tray in
such a manner that the printed surface is facing upwards and is visible.
After closing the engine-driven tray with a CD/DVD inserted, automatic replay of the
CD/DVD will commence after a short time (depending on the data carrier inserted
e.g. the film or music replay etc.).
The difference in quality between a 4-megapixel image file (e.g. 2272*1704
pixel) and a image file which has been converted downwards by means of
suitable software to a lower resolution can therefore hardly be perceived.
On the other hand, the TV/DVD combination set can convert and display
pictures more quickly. Simply experiment with the picture size!
Observe this in the description of the operating fuunctions on following
pages.
This is only possible if the TV-DVD combination set is in CD/DVD mode!
Do not touch the surface of the CD/DVD! Finger prints, contamination or
scratches can cause picture or tone disturbances. Heavier contamination
or scratches can, in fact, make the CD/DVD unusable!
