10. Bedienelemente und Anschlüsse
Eine genaue Funktionsbeschreibung der einzelnen Tasten bzw. Anschlüs-
sen ist in den jeweiligen Kapiteln nachzulesen.

a) Vorderseite

A Lautsprecher (links & rechts bei Stereobetrieb über DVD)
B Netzschalter, zum Ein-/Ausschalten des Geräts
C IR-Sensor für Empfang der IR-Signale der Fernbedienung, Power-LED
D Tasten „CH " und „CH " für Kanalwahl des TV-Kanals/Senders
E Tasten „VOL " und „ VOL " für Lautstärke-Einstellung
F Taste „MENU" zum Aufruf des OSD („On-Screen-Display")

Connection to the mains voltage can lead thereby to runination of
the TV/DVD combination set, apart from this there is the risk of a
fatal electric shock!
Allow the TV/DVD combination set first to reach room temperature
before you connect it with the power supply voltage and switch it
on. This can under certain circumstances take several hours.
When setting up the product, make sure that none of the cables is fold-
ed or squeezed.
If the mains cable is damaged, disconnect the TV/DVD combination set
immediately from the power supply voltage, pull the mains plug carefully
out of the mains socket (if necessary, for safety reasons, remove the
power from the mains socket, e.g. bz means of the appropriate automat-
ic fuse).
Do not operate the apparatus then! Allow the damaged mains cable to
be replaced without delay by a specialist workshop with a new mains
cable with the same technical specifications.
Never repair the damaged mains cable !
Check the product for damage everytime before using it !

If you find damage, the product may NOT be connected to the pow-
er supply voltage! There is danger to life!
If the TV/DVD combination set is not used for a longer period (e.g. in
storage), switch it off by the mains switch (B). In addition, pull the mains
plug of the mains cable out of the mains socket.
In standby operation (apparatus switched off by button "STANDBY" (2)
on the remote control, mains switch (B) not switched off), the mains
power unit has a (even if low) power input in the TV/DVD combination
set; slight heating is therefore normal.
To save this senslely "consumed" energy, the TV/DVD combination set
should always be switched off when not being used by the mains switch (B).
Some K Wh (kilowatt hours) can accumulate per month in standby operation.
Depending on the electricity price, this can cost possibly 1-4 Euro per
month which can easily be saved; simply switch of the apparatus by the
mains switch (B)!
