3. Symbol-Erklärungen
Das Symbol mit dem Blitz im Dreieck wird verwendet, wenn Gefahr für
Ihre Gesundheit besteht, z.B. durch elektrischen Schlag.
Das Ausrufezeichen im Dreieck weist Sie auf besondere Gefahren bei
Handhabung, Betrieb oder Bedienung hin.
Das „Hand"-Symbol steht für spezielle Tipps und Bedienhinweise.
4. Laser-Hinweise
Dieses Produkt ist mit einem Laser der Klasse 1 ausgerüstet. Öffnen Sie
das Gerät niemals, Einstell- oder Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nur vom aus-
gebildeten Fachmann, der mit den jeweiligen Gefahren vertraut ist,
durchgeführt werden.
Unsachgemäß ausgeführte Einstellarbeiten können eine gefährliche
Laserstrahlung zur Folge haben. Im Geräteinneren befindet sich ein Hin-
weisschild, das bei einer Reparatur durch den Fachmann beachtet wer-
den muss.
Sie nie in den Laserstrahl. Laserstrahlung kann zu Augenverletzungen
führen.
Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befindet sich ein Laserwarnschild, das
den Benutzer auf die entsprechende Laserklasse hinweist.

26. Playable CD/DVD formats
The following CD types can be played with the appartus:
• DVD
• Audio CD
• VCD/SVCD
• MP3 CD
• Picture CD with pictures in JPG format
Both discs with a diameter of 12cm and discs with a diamter of 8cm can be inserted
into the CD tray. For the 8cm version no additional adapter is required.
As already explained in section 17, it cannot be guaranted that each Audio-
CD, VCD, SVCD, self-burned DVD, MP3-CD or picture CD can be played in
the TV/DVD combination set faultlessly.
There are far too many different CDs and DVD blanks, CD/DVD burners
and burn software (and software which, for example creates VCDs, SVCDs
or DVDs) for each desired combination set to be able to be tested in the
TV/DVD combination set by the manufacturer.
Playing software on a computer is in this respect less "selective", as it is
relatively simple here to include new "codecs" (the software part which
converts the audio or film files on the CD or DVD).
If you have created the CD/DVD yourself, you use as test other software or
another procedure in the creations of the CD/DVD, you use a different type
of blank (e.g. DVD-R instead of DVD+R, DVD-R instead of DVD-RW etc.).
Always put the CD/DVD into the tray so that the printed part of the CD/DVD is point-
ing upwards and can be read. The "data layer" points downwards.
