e) Pause/step function, button "II / STEP" (14)
When playing a CD/DVD, you can stop replay by pressing the button "II / STEP" (14).
In DVD operation, each time you press the button again, you move the film one pic-
ture further on. In this manner you can, for example, watch a scene very slowly (pic-
ture for picture).
To continue normal replay again, press the button "PLAY" (15).
f) Quick forward/reverse,
button "SCAN " and "SCAN
By menas of the two buttons "SCAN
control, you can allow the film to run forward or backwards quickly.
Press the buttons several times to select the various speeds.
The speed factor concerned will be superimposed.
If the film is to play at the normal speed again, then press the button
"PLAY" (15) or (M).
For CD operation, the music is spooled forwards or backwards as long as
you keep the button pressed.
g) Skip buttons " l PREV" and " NEXT
These two buttons serve for reverse or further switching of the chapters on the DVD
or of the individual tracks on a music CD.
Press the buttons several times to reach the desired chapter or music
track.
h) Slow play mode, button "SLOW" (39)
The playing process of the DVD can be slowed down using this button.
Press the button several times to select different speeds.
The speed factor concerned is superimposed.
If the film is to run at normal speed again. press the button "PLAY" (15) or (M).

c) Lautstärke einstellen
Die gewünschte Lautstärke kann mit den Tasten „VOLUME
auf der Fernbedienung bzw. mit den Tasten „VOL
te des Geräts eingestellt werden.
Halten Sie die jeweilige Taste so lange gedrückt, bis die gewünschte Lauts-
tärke erreicht ist. Lassen Sie die Taste danach wieder los.
d) Stummschaltung
Die Audiowiedergabe über die eingebauten Lautsprecher bzw. den Kopfhöreran-
schluss kann stumm geschaltet werden, z.B. wenn Sie telefonieren möchten.
Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „MUTE" auf der Fernbedienung (4).
Die Audiowiedergabe ist nun stumm geschaltet.
Drücken Sie die Taste „MUTE" erneut, um die Stummschaltung zu beenden.
Die vorher eingestellte Lautstärke wird wieder hergestellt.
