Make sure that the wall-plug transformer is disconnected from the 4
channel USB DVR, which is therefore voltage free.
Please consult the operating instructions for the devices that are to be
used with this product without fail (e.g. surveillance camera, monitor,
etc.).
• Make sure that the 4 channel USB DVR is disconnected from the mains.
• Connect up to 4 surveillance cameras to the „video inputs" (1-4) (cinch connection).
• Make sure that the connected cameras are supplied with power.
• If necessary, connect an audio signal to the „audio input" (5) (e.g. from a surveil-
lance camera with sound monitoring) (cinch connection).
• If necessary, connect a monitor, for example, to the „video output" (6) (cinch
connection).
• Connect the supplied USB cable to the „USB port" (7). Connect the other end to your
PC or laptop.
Please note, that the supplied software and driver must be installed
before you connect the PC or laptop.
A detailed operating manual for the installation of the supplied soft-
ware and driver is available on the enclosed CD-ROM.
Take this now, and install the software and the driver following the
detailed manual on the CD-ROM
• Connect the low-voltage connector on the supplied wall-plug transformer to the „DC
IN 5V" (9) plug. Connect the wall-plug transformer to a standard domestic power
socket 230V/AC 50 Hz.
• Further information on installation and on how to use the software included is avail-
able on the enclosed CD.
The provided Software requires a password to be entered to access the
settings. The default administrator password is 123456.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The 4 channel USB DVR is maintenance free.
Before cleaning the housing, disconnect the device from the mains voltage and dis-
connect the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household
waste!!
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to
the current statutory requirements.
