12. Settings

The time zone must be set to ensure that the time is displayed correctly. You can also set the
time format (12-hour mode or 24-hour mode) and the distance format (kilometers/meters or
miles/feet).
Proceed as follows:
• Press the "Mode" button repeatedly until time
mode is activated. The clock symbol is
displayed for a short time, followed by the time
and the date.
• Hold down the "Set" button for about 3 seconds until "24HR" or "12HR" starts flashing.
• Press the "Select" button shortly to switch between "24HR" and "12HR".

In 12-hour mode, an "A" is displayed with the time for the first half of the day and
a "P" for the second half of the day.
• Press the "Set" button shortly to display the unit of distance "KM meter" or "mile feet".
• Press the "Select" button shortly to switch between the two units.
• Press the "Set" button shortly. "TIMEZONE" is displayed and the time zone flashes at the
bottom of the display.
• Press the "Select" button repeatedly until the desired time zone is displayed.

To select standard time (winter time) for Germany, "+1:00" must be selected.
"+2:00" must be selected for daylight saving time (summer time).
• Press the "Set" button shortly to exit the setting mode and display the time and the date, see
illustration top right.
