Le récepteur universel ne devra pas être utilisé pendant la marche
du véhicule en circulation. Veuillez tenir compte lors du transport
du récepteur radio universel à l'intérieur du véhicule, du danger
qu'il peut représenter lorsqu'il est projeté en cas d'accident. De
ce fait, fixez le récepteur radio universel de manière sûre et à un
endroit où il ne pourra pas représenter un danger pour les passa-
gers.
Mise en marche du récepteur radio universel
Le récepteur radio universel est mis en marche à l'aide de la touche (6) Power.
Régulation du volume
L'intensité sonore du récepteur radio universel peut être réglée à l'aide du régulateur
de volume (8). Par une rotation dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre, l'intensité
sonore augmentera.
Par une rotation dans le sens opposé aux aiguilles d'une montre, l'intensité sonore
diminuera.
Régulation de la tonalité
La tonalité pourra être réglée à l'aide du régulateur de tonalité (9).
Par une rotation dans le sens de aiguilles d'une montre, la tonalité augmentera.

Réception des différentes gammes de fréquences
Poussez le sélecteur des fonctions (5) sur la position "Radio".
Veuillez, s.v.p. tenir compte lors de la réception de différentes
gammes de fréquences des dispositions légales (voir réglementa-
tions légales) !

Scale illumination
The frequency scale (16) can be illuminated by pressing the DIAL LIGHT button (1).
Squelch control
The squelch control operates only on the AIR / WB / PB bands. The control suppres-
ses the noise arising during pauses in transmission.
Turn the control clockwise until the noise in the loudspeaker is just suppressed.
The squelch control (10) should not be turned too far to the right, otherwise also
weaker transmitters will be completely suppressed.
Earphone connection
Switch the World Receiver off. Now insert the supplied earphone into the 3.5mm
(mono) earphone socket (13). The built-in loudspeaker is automatically switched off
in the course of this. To avoid damaging the hearing, the volume control (8) should be
at "MIN" when switching on. The desired volume can now be set.
Music should not be listened to over longer periods at excessive
volume: this applies in particular to listening to music via ear-
phones / headphones, because the hearing can be damaged.
Operation as voice amplifier
For the connection of a microphone (impedance 600 Ohm) to the 3.5mm micropho-
ne socket (12), the World Receiver must be switched off and the volume control (8)
set to "MIN". Now slide the function selector switch (5) to its "PA / LINE IN" position.
After the World Receiver has been switched on again, the volume and desired tone
can be set.
Operation as line amplifier
For the connection of audio equipment to the 3.5mm (mono) LINE IN socket (11), the
World Receiver must be switched off and the volume control (8) set to "MIN". Now
slide the function selector switch (5) to its "PA / LINE IN" position. After the World
Receiver has been switched on again, the volume and desired tone can be set.
Never operate the World Receiver simultaneously as voice ampli-
fier and as line amplifier. The World Receiver could be destroyed
by this.
