of the World Receiver is not allowed.
The World Receiver is constructed to Protection Class II.
Only a grounded 230 V / 50 Hz AC socket connected to the public supply or four
1.5V type UM-1 batteries or - via a suitable adapter - the 12 Volt DC socket of a
(chassis-negative) vehicle may be used as current source. Try never to operate the
receiver on other voltage sources.
The receiver is permitted to be operated indoors or within vehicles only.
AC power-operated equipment does not belong in the hands of children! Take parti-
cular care therefore when children are present.
Do not leave the packing material lying about unsupervised; plastic foil / bags,
expanded polystyrene parts, etc. could become dangerous playthings for children.
Do not operate the receiver leaving it unattended.
In industrial facilities the accident prevention regulations of the Industrial Employers'
Insurance Liability Association for electrical systems and equipment must be obser-
ved!

Functional description

Various frequency bands can be listened to using the World Receiver Voyager RY-
630, which is constructed in an easily-portable format. To guarantee good reception,
the receiver is equipped with a telescopic and a directional antenna.
