Description of operation

This passive infrared (PIR) motion detector senses the infrared (heat) radiation from
moving objects, like people or animals, in its detection range. The 90° mounting and
270° range opening angle makes this motion detector ideal for house corners, elimi-
nating the need for a second sensor.
The sensor must "see" the region it monitors.
Heat radiation propagates in straight lines. But it can be stopped by glass or other
objects in the way. Before mounting, check for this, or other trouble sources. If
something enters the (270°) sensor monitoring area, the electric consumer connec-
ted to it is switched on. The consumer, such as lighting, will be automatically swit-
ched off after a time interval that you can set.
The sensor unit can be adjusted horizontally and vertically to set an optimal monito-
ring space. In the PIR motion detector, there is an integrated twilight switch to set the
ambient light intensity (darkness) threshold.
Setting up
Installation requires a trained person.
- Turn off the electric power (remove fuse), short the wire, and protect, so that elec-
tric power cannot accidentally be turned on again.
- To install properly, it is imperative first to read this operating guide thoroughly and
thoughtfully, including the safety precautions.
- Check that the electrical circuit that the PIR motion detector will be on has a switch
that can switch it on and off, and that the circuit is sufficiently protected by a fuse.
- Do not drill or screw any additional screws into the housing to mount the device.
Contact to dangerously high voltage could become possible.
- When using tools to install your device, observe the manufacturers' safety precau-
tions.

Problème
Le détecteur PIR ne fonctionne pas, Les fils de branchement sont-ils con-
même après 30 secondes de phase

L'éclairage relié au détecteur en
mode crépuscule reste enclenché

détecté un objet.
L'éclairage ne s'enclenche pas au
crépuscule.
Les réparations autres que celles qui ont été précédemment décrites doivent être
uniquement exécutées par un technicien compétent.
