Open the front cover again and release the screw on the adjusting
scale, and slip the pcb into the desired position between -5 and
+5; re-tighten the screw securely. To this effect, pay attention to the
prominence on the housing to the left of the scale. Subsequently,
fasten front cover again.
It may be necessary to perform several tests to determine the pro-
per setting.
Subsequently, the motion detector must be subjected to a walking
test.
Handling
Make sure that the cable insulation of the connecting lines is not
damaged, as there is a risk of false tripping (due to cable break /
short-circuit or pinched lines).
Do not operate the PIR motion detector in rooms or in adverse am-
bient conditions which involve or might involve inflammable gases,
vapours or dust. For your own safety, it is essential to stop the PIR
motion detector getting damp or wet.
To prevent undesired maloperations, pay attention to the following:
- Do not direct the sensor to radiators, air conditioning systems
or similar objects; direct sun exposure etc. should also be
avoided, as temperature changes may result in maloperation.
- Animals, e.g. dogs, cats, birds, or vehicles which are moving
in the sensing range, may trigger maloperation.
Maintenance
Check the PIR motion detector for damage at regular intervals!
If perfect operation cannot be assumed any longer, the PIR motion

Fonctionnement
Ce modèle est équipé de lentilles jumelées (Double-Twin-Optics-
System). Ces capteurs sont superposés. A travers les zones de
couverture se chevauchant, une alarme n'est déclenchée que si les
deux capteurs détectent simultanément un changement de
température (mouvement). Ce système permet de réduire sensible-
ment les fausses alertes et il s'utilise aussi bien dans le cadre pro-
fessionnel que privé.
