Operation
• Switch on the alarm system.
• Walk through the IR beam between transmitter and receiver.
• At this, the alarm system must signal the change in input
(contact opened) depending on whether it is programmed for im-
mediate or delayed response.
Should the Photoelectric Barrier against expectations not func-
tion, help can be found later in these operating instructions.
• Switch the alarm system off again.
Maintenance and disposal
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the Photoelectric Barrier
and of the connected current source, e.g. for damage to the
connecting cables and casing.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, then
the Photoelectric Barrier or its power source must be switched off
and protected against unintentional operation. Withdraw the power
plug from the AC socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the Photoelectric Barrier or the connecting wires show visible
damage
- the Photoelectric Barrier or connected power supplies no lon-
ger operate
- after extended storage under adverse conditions
- after severe transportation stress

Mise en service
Afin de garantir une mise en service conforme,
veuillez, impérativement avant l'utilisation, lire at-
tentivement et entièrement ce mode d'emploi avec
les consignes de sécurité !
Montage
Des appareils avec de forts
champs magnétiques ne doi-
vent pas se trouver à proximité.
Des appareils avec de forts
champs électriques ne doivent
pas se trouver à proximité du
barrage photoélectrique, par
ex. radiotéléphone, émetteur
radio, moteur électrique, etc.
Pour la fixation de l'appareil, ne
forez et ne vissez pas de vis
supplémentaires dans le boîtier.
Veillez lors du choix de l'empla-
cement pour l'installation de
votre barrage photoélectrique,
que l'exposition directe et in-
tensive aux rayons du soleil, les
vibrations, la poussière, la cha-
leur, le froid et l'humidité doi-
vent être évités.
Remarque
Ceux-ci pourraient influencer la
fonctionnalité de manière néga-
tive.
Un contact avec des tensions
dangereuses pourrait alors se
produire.
