Intended Use
This Wii
®
Docking Station is intended to be used as both a stand and charging station for your
Wii
®
console, 2 x Wii
®
Remote Controller, 2 x Wii
two 2.4V 1200 mAh NIMH rechargeable battery packs.
The voltage is supplied via the Wii
®
power supply unit (12V/DC), which is contained in the pack-
age for your Wii
®
console.
The system components are only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The system components must not be modified or converted, as not only the
CE approval will become void but also the warranty.
• Never recharge any other batteries than those delivered with this charging
station!
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use pro-
tective gloves.
• The voltage is supplied via the Wii
contained in the package of your Wii
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, intense vibration, humidity or heavy mechanical stress.
• After a rapid change in temperature the system components need some
time to adjust to the new ambient temperature. Wait until the components
have adjusted to the ambient temperature before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of
children!
• Only use the charging station contained in the scope of delivery to recharge
the batteries enclosed.
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety or the
correct use of the product.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic-
foil/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suf-
focation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.

• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat sources
are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from low heights
and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop..
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.
Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by chil-
dren or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on contact
with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that the batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, taken to pieces or thrown
into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-
teries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries or rechargeable
batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss
of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter „Disposal".
Connection and Start-up
• Place the Wii
®
console into the Docking Station.
• Connect the Wii
®
power supply unit to the voltage supply connection on the rear.
• Plug the other connector of the Wii
®
V/AC 50 Hz.
• Set the ON/OFF switch on the rear to the position „I" (=On).
• Remove the batteries from your Wii
®
mulator packs.
• Place the Wii
®
Remote Controller into the charging slot 1 (Slot 1). A maximum of 2 Wii
Controllers can be charged at the same time. The two rear slots are used to store your Wii
Nunchuck.
Explanation of the Status LEDs on the Front:
POWER:
CHARGING:
FULL:
The numbers 1 and 2 indicate the corresponding charging
slot.
LED POWER: If the red „POWER" LEDs are flashing, the charging station is
in stand-by mode.
LED CHARGING: If the „CHARGING" LEDs are flashing yellow, the battery is
being recharged.
LED FULL: When the „FULL" LEDs are shine green, the battery is fully
charged.
If the LEDs are only dimly lit or do not flash at all, there might be a problem
with the contacts or the rechargeable battery might be defective. In this case,
check if the Wii
®
Remote Controller has been inserted completely and cor-
rectly into the charging slot.
The battery packs enclosed have a service life of up to 300 recharges.
Before using for the first time, the batteries need approx. 10 hours charging.
The normal charging time is 4 hours. If the battery is not used for a while and
is therefore flat, the subsequent charging period may be 10 hours again.
If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries
or rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the
product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
