Troubleshooting

This parking system has been designed using state-of-the-art technology and is extremely reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
For this reason, the following is a description of how you can easily eliminate possible malfunctions your-
self.
Always follow the safety instructions!
Error
Parking system
does not come on. engaged.
No signal.
The display shows wrong
distance values and a
beep sounds.
although there is enough
space.
Repairs other than those just described should only be performed by an authorised spe-
cialist.

Possible cause
The reverse gear is not
No ignition voltage.
Wrong cabling.
The fuse is defective.
The slide switch at the back
is in the off position (lower)
"Program error"
The sensors are extremely
dirty.
Solution
Engage the reverse gear.
Switch the ignition on.
Check the plug connec-
tions and the voltage supply fuses
(car flat fuse + display).
Slide it upwards
(LOW/HI = on)
Disengage the reverse gear
and engage it again
(Reset).
Clean the sensors
regularly.
