Alignment procedure
Use the FOC control on the picture tube panel to adjust the
vertical lines about 5 cm to the right and left picture border
for minimum horizontal width.
Use the FOC control on the picture tube panel to adjust the
horizontal lines in the picture centre for minimum vertical
width. When this is done, use the focus control on the focus
board to adjust the vertical lines about 5 cm to the right and
left picture border for minimum horizontal width.
Use the FOCUS 1 control on the focus block to adjust the
horizontal lines in the picture centre for minimum vertical
width. The upper border sharpness must not be worse than
the centre sharpness - set to average value if necessary.
When this is done, use the FOCUS 2 control on the focus
block to adjust the vertical lines about 5 cm to the right and
left picture border for minimum horizontal width.
Units without focus block:
Use the SG control (right control on the regulating section)
on the picture tube panel to adjust 170V
Units with focus block:
Use the "SCREEN" control (bottom control on the focus
±
block) to adjust 170V 2.5V.
Check for equal impulse width of the oscillograms and
correct if necessary using the coil L53574.
Re-adjust the picture width according to the test pattern.
Adjust to IF Type built into the set.
National, Multi 8, Multi 9.
Set the OSD Layout to "green".
