Please note that in case of insufficient insolation in
the following days the withdrawn energy is not
replaced in the storage battery! When, nevertheless,
switched on again at nightfall the capacity of the stor-
age battery is continually diminished until capacity is
low enough to activate the under-voltage circuit
breaker, which protects the storage battery from total
discharge. When noting that the period of illumination
is getting gradually shorter the solar light has to be
recharged at direct insolation as described above!
Mounting
As described above make sure that the solar light is
placed in an area where direct insolation without shade
(e.g. caused by vegetation) is guaranteed for a longer
period of time when mounting the device!
If you wish to mount the solar light in your garden pond
you will find a corresponding eyelet at the bottom side
of the casing where you may fasten e.g. a piece of
string or a small chain! At the other end weight it possi-
bly with a stone so that the solar light remains at the
same place.

Keep electrical devices out of the reach of children!
Observe the safety regulations laid down by the profes-
sional trade association for electrical equipment and
installations in industrial and commercial facilities.
Electricity powered devices used at schools, training
facilities, do-it-yourself and hobby workshops should
not be handled unless supervised by well-instructed
trained personnel.
Before initial operation the solar light has to be exposed
to direct insolation for at least 36 hours to charge the
storage battery!
When operating the solar light make sure that it is placed
where direct insolation (no shade) for a longer period (at
least 8 hours a day) is guaranteed!
The solar cell should be regularly cleaned with water and
a mild detergent so that maximum insolation is possible!
Use only storage batteries which are suitable for solar
plants!
