Exchanging the Storage Battery
Unscrew the three Philips screws with an appropriate
tool! Lift now the lower half of the casing!
Replace the Ni-MH-storage battery only by a new stor-
age battery of the same type (1.2 volt/ 900 mAh) which
is suitable for solar plants! Please make sure you insert
the storage battery with correct polarity (plus "+" and
minus "-")! The spring contact in the storage battery
chamber is minus "-".
Before operating the device with the new storage battery
the solar light must be charged once again in direct inso-
lation for at least 36 hours so that the storage battery is
completely charged. Only then the light may be operated!
We kindly request the user to respect this operating
manual to preserve this condition and to ensure safe
operation.
