Disposal of Used Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries

You as the end user are legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the domestic waste is not permitted.
(Rechargeable) batteries containing harmful substances are marked
with the following symbols, they indicate that it is not permitted to dis-
pose of them in the domestic refuse. The labels for the heavy metals
which they may contain are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return spent batteries/rechargeable batteries and button cells
free of charge to any authorised disposal station in your area, in our sto-
res or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries/button
cells are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the
protection of the environment!
