Connecting your Telephone to Your Hands-Free Set
(Pairing)
This section explains the general procedure for connecting a Bluetooth hands-free
set with a Bluetooth-capable mobile phone. However, the procedure can vary
slightly depending on the mobile phone. Therefore, please also refer to the
operating manual of your mobile phone on the configuration of equipment and keep
it within easy reach.

First Installation of your Hands-Free Set with your Telephone

Use of the Bluetooth hands-free set requires a pairwise connection with a
Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone. If your mobile phone requests entry of a PIN
number in the course of the process, enter 8888.
• Switch off the hands-free set.
• Make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your mobile phone.
• Switch the hands-free set on. The "Bluetooth Status LED" (3) begins to flash blue
once every five seconds.
• The hands-free set (HF009) has now been found by the telephone. When request-
ed, enter the PIN 8888 into your mobile phone.
• The "Bluetooth Status LED" (3) is lit continuously if the connection is successful.
If the connection attempt is not successful, switch off both the telephone and hands-
free set. Wait approx. 5 seconds and repeat the steps described above.

Volume Control

After successful connection, the volume is automatically set to the middle setting.
In order to increase or decrease the volume use the "Volume +" button (6) or the
"Volume -" button (4)
