g) Switching on the lights
• Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) button to switch on the light. The light will come on for a few
seconds.
• Hold the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) button down for about four seconds to switch on the light
permanently.
• Pressing the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) button allows you to set the brightness of the light. You can
set the brightness of the light at the following intervals:
• Press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) button for about four seconds to switch off the light perma-
nently again.

h) Setting the snooze light

• Hold down the "SET/WAVE" (3) button for about 3 seconds until the number 90 fl ashes in the
top line of the display.
• You can change the value to 90, 60, 45, or 30 minutes using the "+/-" (5) and (6) buttons.

9. Handling

Avoid the following unfavourable ambient conditions at the place of installation, during operation
or transport:
• wet or high humidity
• extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight
• dust or fl ammable gases, vapours or solvents
• strong vibrations, impacts or blows
• strong magnetic fi elds as present near machines or loudspeakers
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold into a warm room. The
condensation water produced as a result could destroy the product.
Leave the product switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature before use. This
process may take several hours.
Make sure the insulation of the product as a whole is neither damaged nor destroyed. Always
check the product for damage before using it!
