b) Switching on the alarm

• Press the "ALARM" (4) button. The alarm time and a bell symbol appear in the bottom left of
the display. The alarm is now switched on.
• Press the "ALARM" (4) again to toggle between the two alarm tones. The bell symbol denotes
a beep, the note symbol a snooze tone.
• To switch the alarm off, press the "ALARM" (4) button again. The date is displayed in the
bottom left of the display.

c) Snooze function

• When you hear the alarm tone at the time you have set, press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1)
button.
This interrupts the alarm tone. The alarm tone resounds after fi ve minutes. You can interrupt the
alarm tone twice more before the snooze function is fi nally deactivated. During the quiet phase,
the symbol for the waves from the radio tower fl ashes.
Just before the alarm sounds, the light guide starts to illuminate in different
colours. If you press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" (1) button, the light guide goes out
again. The light guide only works when the power supply is connected.

d) Stopping the alarm tone

• To stop the alarm tone (and also the snooze function), briefl y press the "ALARM" (4) button.

e) Selecting the alarm tone/snooze tone

• Press the "SELECT" (9) button to choose between 6 different alarm tones/snooze tones.

f) Setting the snooze function and dim light

• Press "SLEEP" (8), "OFF" will fl ash in the display.
• Press the "SLEEP" (8) button set set the snooze function to between 60 and 15 minutes at
15-minute intervals.
• To activate the snooze tone and the dim light in repeat mode, set the function by pressing the
"SLEEP" (8) button repeatedly until "LOOP" appears in the display.
The setting will be saved automatically after 5 seconds.
Once the settings have been saved, the snooze function will start. The timer shows the time
remaining in the bottom right of the display. In repeat mode, an animation is shown instead of
the time.
• To deactivate the snooze function again, press the "SLEEP" (8) button until "OFF" appears
in the display.
