Installation

Pay attention to the information in chapter "Preparations for Installation".
• Unscrew both cap nuts so that the round wall bracket at the rear can be taken out.
• Inside the wall bracket, you will fi nd the writing „
on a wall so that the arrows point upwards vertically.
The LED light may only be mounted onto a perpendicular wall.
The installation location (arrow inside the wall bracket must point vertically upwards)
must always be observed. Otherwise, the protection class IP55 is no longer guaran-
teed!
• Pierce the rubber gasket of the cable feedthrough in the wall bracket with a sharp item. Make
sure you do not cut the rubber gasket open to widely!
• Feed the power cable through the rubber gasket and screw the wall bracket to the wall using
two suitable screws and observing the correct position (see above).
If screw anchors are necessary, mark the positions of the holes through the mounting holes
and remove the wall bracket for drilling the holes.
When drilling mounting holes or screwing down, ensure that no existing electrical
cable, gas or water pipes will be damaged!
• Remove the insulation on the mains cable to the required length.
• Connect the mains cable using the terminal strip in the LED light (brown cable = L, blue cable
= N, green/yellow cable = PE/earth, ground symbol).
The protected earth must be connected!
When the LED light is substituting another existing light and no protective earth
conductor is available, the LED light must not be mounted. First, draw a new mains
cable.
In case no protective earth conductor is connected, in error behaviour the mains
voltage might charge the metal housing of the LED light. There is a risk of a life-
threatening electric shock!
Make sure only the minimum required length of the cable is stripped; otherwise it
could cause a short-circuit.
Also check the other screw connections on the terminal strip (for the connection
cables to the light electronics) and tighten them if necessary.
• Fasten the mains cable to the strain relief. Attach the handle of the strain relief previously
removed and screw it fi rmly in place.
• Install the LED light on the wall bracket. Make sure that the cables are not pinched or dam-
aged.
The lamp head must be on top.
Screw the LED light tight on the wall bracket using the cap nuts removed earlier.
• Switch on the mains voltage and make sure that the lamp is working.
If the LED light does not light up, switch off the mains voltage immediately and have
the LED light and the connection checked by a specialist!
• Adjust the LED light's angle so it illuminates the desired area.

Maintenance and Care

• The LED light does not require maintenance. You should occasionally clean dust and dirt off
the glass plate on the light, to ensure proper functioning.
• Switch off the LED light or disconnect it from the mains before cleaning. Let it cool down suf-
fi ciently.
• The exterior of the LED light should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Where it
becomes very dirty, use a cloth which is slightly moistened with lukewarm water.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing or the transparent cover, as scratches might occur.
Never spray water e.g. with a garden hose or a high-pressure cleaner, at the LED
spotlight!
UP". The wall bracket must be mounted
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.
