0 When the toaster has switched off,
turn the bread. Repeat the process.
Never place rolls or bread directly on

the toasting slot.
0 Fold down the roll rack: Bring button
(Figure 1/J) back up to its original posi-
tion (Figure 5).
Wait for the roll rack to cool down

before folding it back down.
Cleaning and Care

0 Before cleaning, always unplug and
leave the toaster to cool down.
3 Crumbs dropping from the bread dur-
ing toasting collect in the crumb
drawer.
0 Release the crumb drawer by briefly
pressing and pulling out. Clean out
drawer and replace.
Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaners

to clean the appliance. Only clean the
housing with a dry or slightly moist
cloth.
Liquid must not be applied to the

toaster, the toaster must also never be
immersed in liquid.
Storage of bread for toasting
(Figure 8)
In order to obtain evenly browned

toast at all times, opened packets of
bread should be resealed and stored
with the end that has been started
downwards.
