This device is designed for professional use, e.g. on stages, in discotheques, theatres etc. and outdoors.
Before installing a device on the FUTURELIGHT ODD, make sure it is applicable
for the desired mounting method! Always follow the instructions in the user manual
Only operate devices with a maximum alternating voltage of 230 V and
The maximum carrying capacity must never be exceeded.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
Never lift the fixture by holding it at the protection dome, as the dome may be damaged. Always hold the
fixture at the transport handles.
When choosing the installation-spot, please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat or
dust.
Never operate this device on dusty ground (e. g. gravel concrete) because the ventilation fan on the bottom
would suck the dust into the device.
This device must never be operated on grounds (e.g. styrofoam) where the feet could sink in. Otherwise,
sufficient ventilation is not safeguarded (danger of overheating).
In order to safeguard sufficient ventilation, leave 50 cm of free space around the device.
This device must never be operated on grounds where the water could build up. Otherwise, danger of short-
circuit which may lead to mortal damage.
The installation is only allowed on carrying areas. In some cases, an appropriate substructure has to be
created.
Dependending upon the individual installation spot, all necessary measures against movement and for
securing the standing safety have to be created.
There should not be any cables lying around. Please make sure that the unit cannot be touched or bumped.
You endanger your own and the safety of others!
The ambient temperature must always be between -25° C and +45° C. Keep away from direct insulation
(particularly in cars) and heaters.
The maximum ambient temperature T
The maximum relative humidity is 100 % with an ambient temperature of 25° C.
This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Never use the device during thunderstorms. Over voltage could destroy the device. Always disconnect the
device during thunderstorms.
Never use the device during upcoming storms. The maximum wind speed is 61 km/h or 16,9 m/s or 37 mph
(wind force 7 Bft).
