is unavoidable. The use of an RCD reduces
the risk of electric shock.
D o not use an electrical power tool if
its switch is defective. An electrical power
tool that can no longer be switched on and off
is dangerous and must be repaired.

General instructions

This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
If the mains power cable of this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or its service department, or a similarly
qualified person to prevent hazards.

Instructions for hot air blower

A fire may result if the appliance is not used
with care.
B e careful when using the appliance in places
where there are combustible materials.
D o not apply to the same place for a long time.
D o not use in presence of an explosive atmosphere.
B e aware that heat may be conducted to com-
bustible materials that are out of sight.
P lace the appliance on its stand after use and
allow it to cool down before storage (see Ill. D).
D o not leave the appliance unattended when it
is switched on.
General safety advice
Supervise children. Ensure that children do
not play with the hot air blower.

Supplementary Instructions

ATTENTION! To avoid the danger of injury,
burning and dangers to your health:
I f danger arises, pull the mains plug immediate-
ly out of the mains socket.
DANGER OF PERSONAL INJURy!
Never use the appliance as a hair dryer.
D o not direct the heat flow at persons
or animals.
D o not look directly into the opening of the heat
nozzle

DANGER OF BURNS! Do not touch the hot
nozzle. Wear protective gloves.
W ear protective glasses.
DANGER OF FIRE AND ExPLOSION!
The appliance develops very high temperatures.
If the device is not used carefully, it can give
rise to increased risk of fire or explosion.
D o not work in the vicinity of easily ignitable
gases or materials. Heating of plastics, paints,
varnishes etc. can lead to the creation of gases
that are hazardous to health. Make sure you
always have adequate ventilation.
W hen taking a break from your work, before
carrying out any tasks on the device itself (e.g.
changing the nozzle) or when you are not
using the device, always pull the mains plug
out of the mains socket.
M aintain a distance between the jet outlet
nozzle and the workpiece or the surface being
heated. An air blockage could lead to over-
heating of the appliance.
P ay heed to the direct working area and also
to its surroundings. The heat produced could
reach to inflammable articles located out of the
visible area.
A lways keep the device clean, dry and free
of oil or grease.
N ever use the device for a purpose for which it
was not intended.
