Something not working?
If a problem occurs, you can try to solve it yourself following the
instructions below. If you call out an engineer when one of the follo-
wing problems occurs, or to repair a fault due to incorrect use, the call-
out will be charged even if requested within the guarantee period.

Possible cause
Mains plug disconnected
The "START/PAUZE-DEPART/PAUSE"
button has not been depressed.
No programme selected
Loading door open
Drum light does not
work.
Fuse or residual current circuit
breaker in fuse box (domestic
installation) faulty
Wrong programme selected
Lint filter blocked
Wrong filling quantity
Laundry not sufficiently dried
Deposit on the drum inner surface-
or on the drum ribs
Remedy
Plug in mains plug
press "START/PAUZE-DEPART/PAUSE"
button
Select programme
Close loading door
Turn programme selector to any
programme.
Replace light bulb (see next
section).
Check fuse or residual current circuit
breaker. Faults can be eliminated by
an electrical engineer
Select another (time) programme for
the next drying cycle
Clean lint filter
Observe recommended filling quantity
Pre-dry laundry sufficiently
Clean drum inner surface and drum
ribs
