TROUBLESHOOTING
Danger - risk of injury!
Wear working gloves during all maintenance work!
Always unplug from the mains and wait for the blade to stop moving before commencing
any maintenance or preventive maintenance work!

Solution
Check fuse / extension lead.
Contact Hitachi service center
Caution! Do not carry out maintenance
on cutter blade without working gloves!
Free the cutter blade from interference
Start lawn mower on short grass
Have cutter blade sharpened at Hitachi
service center
Remove grass, clean baffl e plate
Have cutter blade sharpened at Hitachi
service center
Switch off lawn mower and restart on
level ground or short grass
Allow lawn to dry
Clean the grass catcher grid
Clean discharge chute / housing
Correct cutting height
Have cutter blade sharpened at Hitachi
service center
