10. Inserting/Removing the SD Card

Ensure that the sports camera is switched off when you insert or remove the SD card from
the "SD card slot".
Ensure that the card is inserted correctly before switching on the sports camera (when inserting
the card, you can hear a "clip" sound). The label on the SD memory card must point
downwards. The SD card can be damaged and the data stored on it can be lost or also dama-
ged if the SD card is not inserted all the way and then taken into operation. The camera data
may also be damaged if the SD card is inserted or removed while the camera is switched on. If
the SD memory card is removed while the camera is on, the camera is automatically switched
off.
The internal memory of 32MB is only intended for system settings.
You can use SD memory cards of up to 32GB.
Inserting the card:
• Switch the sports camera off.
• Remove the "connection cover (push closure up)" (10).
• Slide the "SD memory card" into the SD card slot" until you can hear a "clip" sound.
• Replace the "connection cover" (10).
When you have inserted an "SD memory card" properly (and the camera is switched on), the "LCD dis-
play" (7) shows an SD card icon (in the upper right next to the battery charge display).
Removing the card:
• Switch the sports camera off.
• Remove the "connection cover (push closure up)" (10).
• Press onto the "SD memory card" until you can hear a "clip" sound.
• Remove the "SD memory card".
- Replace the "connection cover" (10).
