9. Charging the Battery

The battery can be charged in three variations:
Charging via the PC connection
• Plug the included USB cable into a free USB port of your computer
• Open the battery lid of the DV-camera (10)
• Connect the other side of the USB cable to the USB port of the DV-camera
• The computer must be switched on
• A green display is lit on the camera during charging (2)
Charge via the AC/DC plug-in mains adapter
• Plug the included AC/DC plug-in charger into a mains socket
• Open the battery lid of the DV-camera (10).
• Connect the other side of the plug-in charger to the USB port of the DV-camera
• A green display is lit on the camera during charging (2)
Charging via the 12V car charging cable
• Connect the included 12V car charging cable and the 12V charging socket of your vehicle
• Open the battery lid of the DV-camera (10)
• Connect the other side of the car charging cable to the USB port of the DV-camera
• The vehicle motor must be started
• A green display is lit on the camera during charging (2)
At first use, the battery should be charged for at least 12 hours. Ensure that the
camera is always switched off during charging.
