4. Safety Information

The guarantee will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions! We do not assume any liability for consequential
damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by
incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In such cases the
warranty/guarantee will expire.
• The camera must not be modified or rebuilt, as not only the CE approval will expire but
also the warranty/guarantee.
• If the camera is used in connection with other devices, e.g. a screen, the operating
instructions and safety information of the connected devices must also be observed
closely.
• The operation of this sports camera is no substitute for your responsibility to supervise
children or other people in need of special care.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the camera requires a certain time to stabilise and
adjust to the ambient temperature before it can be operated.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Please contact a qualified person if you are unsure about the safety and correct use of
the camera.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil/bags etc. can become
a dangerous toy for children; there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the
device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions over an extended period of time or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability
Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
• Maintenance, adjustments and repairs must only be carried out by a qualified specialist or
a specialised repair shop.
• For any unanswered questions please contact our customer service or other specialists.
• Water can enter the "connection cover" (10) if it is not tightly closed.
• Do not push any buttons on the camera while pursuing your sports. This may lead to acci-
dents and injuries.
