The power amplifier is equipped with asymmetrical 6.3 mm jack inputs. Use the
cinch cable provided for connecting the MX-110 mixing desk.
The amplifier and the loudspeakers are equipped with SPEAKER connections. Con-
nect the AX-110 amplifier and the SX-10 loudspeakers using the loudspeaker cables
provided. Also plug the SPEAKER plug into the jack. Now turn the SPEAKER plug to
the right until it locks in place. The connection is properly established only when the
SPEAKER plug has locked in place. Secure the SPEAKER plug by turning the locking
disc on the plug to the right.

Initial operation

To ensure proper set-up and operation, please read the operating
instructions and safety instructions carefully before using the device.
• Check again that all connections are correct.
• Turn the headphone, channel, GAIN and the MASTER controls of the mixing desk
to the minimum setting.
• Turn the two volume controls of the amplifier to minimum.
• Switch on the signal sources such as the CD player and cassette deck.
• Switch on the mixing desk at the mains switch.
• Switch the amplifier on. After a short switch-on-delay, the device is switched on.
• Take a piece of music from your normal programme and set a normal level on the
signal source. Make sure that no device of the system is overmodulated.
• Turn up the volume control of the connected amplifier to approx. 50% - 75%.
• Use the input selection switches on the mixing desk to select the corresponding
signal source.
• Set the input level on the mixing desk using the GAIN and channel controls. Slowly
turn the MASTER control on the mixing desk to the right until the required volume is
reached.
• You can use the tone controls to alter the tone of the channel signal. All channels
should have about the same volume so that, when cross-fading between the
channels, there are no great differences in the volume which would otherwise
require the output signal to be adjusted.

(26) Prise femelle casque d'écoute
Douille de raccordement destinée à un casque d'écoute stéréo (connecteur jack 6,3
mm). Le casque d'écoute vous permet tant la préécoute (voir point 11) que l'écoute
du signal d'entrée.
(27) Entrée CD1
Il est possible de raccorder à l'entrée stéréo Cinch asymétrique des sources de
signaux à haut niveau telles que des tuners, des lecteur CD, des magnétoscope, des
lecteur MP3, etc.

(31) Sortie REC
Le signal de sortie audio mixé de la table de mixage (signal MASTER) est appliqué
sur cette sortie stéréo Cinch asymétrique. Le régulateur MASTER (20) n'influence
cependant pas le signal REC.
Vous pouvez brancher sur ces douilles un appareil enregistreur tel qu'un lecteur de
cassettes, un magnétophone ou un enregistreur de CD et enregistrer le signal émis
par la table de mixage.
Le niveau de sortie des raccordements REC peut être influencé par les
faders canaux individuels, le bouton de réglage du son et le bouton
GAIN.
(32) Sortie MASTER
Le signal de sortie MASTER est appliqué sur cette sortie stéréo Cinch asymétrique.
C'est à ces douilles que vient se connecter l'amplificateur. Le niveau de sortie se
règle par l'intermédiaire le bouton MASTER (20).
(33) Borne à vis de mise à la masse
Cette borne à vis sert de mise à la masse de l'appareil. Afin d'éviter tout ronflement,
il est recommandable d'établir, grâce à cette borne à vis, une mise à la masse entre
la table de mixage et les appareils raccordés. Pour ce faire, l'appareil raccordé doit
également être doté d'une borne à vis de mise à la masse. Cette connexion n'est
cependant nécessaire que si des perturbations surviennent.
